Security Consultation
We provide analysis of security in the home, place of business, or in other settings such as places of learning or worship. We have the expertise to advise you on how to better secure and protect yourself, your employees, or others that are in your care. We specialize in physical threat assessments (building security) and can advise on various measures that can add to physical protection including video surveillance, procedural changes, or hiring security personnel. We also can review and revise your current security policies and procedures to improve the overall safety. Examples of this include background checks for new employees and conduct training on improvement of the security of property and personnel.

Service Offerings
The following are examples of some of the services that we offer in the area of security consultation.
Physical Threat Assessments
A physical security assessment evaluates existing or planned security measures that protect assets from threats and criminal activity and identifies improvements when deemed necessary. This generally consists of an onsite visit and review of the physical structure as well as a review of the policies and procedures that surround entry and use of the campus or building. A written report is prepared and provided to the client with a list of suggestions. We strive to provide suggestions that are based on the clients needs and fit the budget that is allocated for safety and security. Some of these suggestions can be implemented immediately and for little cost at all, while others may be more costly, long term projects.
Behavioral Threat Assessments
A behavioral threat assessment is used to analyze whether the observable behaviors presented by an employee pose a risk of harm to themselves or others. The assessment is conducted through interviews with those that work with or supervise the employee as well as past performance concerns. If the assessment proves that there is a need to move forward with separation from an employee, we also can assist with hostile or difficult terminations.
Safety and Security Training
Training can be provided to management and staff as well as students in the educational setting on topics that are critical to improving the safety and security everyone involved. These trainings include mental health first aid, active shooter and workplace violence awareness and response, as well as education on the behaviors that often occur prior to an incident of workplace violence. Drug and Alcohol awareness trainings are also offered and can directly impact the overall safety culture within a school or place of business.
